Verity Burns

Verity has been a technology journalist for over a ten years, somehow carving out a career that consists of playing with the latest tech, games and gadgets and getting paid for it. She’s worked across print and online at the likes of Stuff, What Hi-Fi?, MSN and Pocket Lint, and since going freelance in 2017 she has racked up bylines in titles that include Metro, The Observer, Wired, The Sun, Trusted Reviews, BBC Science Focus and Real Homes. When she's not writing, reviewing or offering tech support to various members of her family, she's a Mum of three - one actual baby and two furry ones. The combination of which means she hasn't missed a step goal in years. You’ll always find her in the living room, recalibrating terrible TV settings at parties.
