Therefore, there has never been a better (or more affordable) time to start kitting out a smart home with a raft of awesome tech and gadgets.
Read on for the lowdown on all the Aqara savings…
Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro

Aqara took the covers off an absolute plethora of new tech over at IFA in September; the most notable of which was the outdoor-focused Camera Hub G5 Pro.
Like Aqara cameras in the past that have the word ‘Hub’ in their names, the G5 Pro is both a smart security camera and a smart home hub all-in-one.
For Aqara users, that means a new hub to connect their Zigbee Aqara devices to, such as motion sensors, smart locks and more.
And, because the Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro is designed to live outdoors, it provides an easier way to get outdoor-based devices synced up and playing nicely within an Aqara smart home system.
But there’s more to it than that – the Hub G5 Pro is also a Matter controller with Thread border router skills too.
Available in both PoE and Wi-Fi models, the G5 Pro boats 1520p visuals, color night vision, a 133 degree field of view, and AI smart detection on board.
There’s local storage options for your footage on offer through the onboard eMMC memory, or via a connected NAS drive.
The G5 Pro is also an Apple HomeKit Secure Video certified camera too, and it can also be synced with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, or any other Matter system.

Aqara Video Doorbell G4

The Aqara Video Doorbell G4 is a budget battery-powered smart video doorbell that, amongst other things, boasts Apple HomeKit Secure Video certification; one of the only battery-powered video doorbells on the market to do so.
Not only is the Aqara Video Doorbell G4 HSV-compliant, it is also compatible with both Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
With those two voice assistants synced up, you are also able to stream footage from your doorbell to your smart display, such as an Echo Show or a Nest Hub.
Boasting the AI-driven face recognition, this 1080p HD doorbell also offers pre-recorded voice responses for when you’re not able to answer, and can also act as a motion sensor and siren in an Aqara smart security system.
Available in either gray or black, the G4 can be wired-in, should you wish, but six AA batteries will keep it alive for around 4 months.
As well as the iCloud storage options that HomeKit Secure Video offers, the Video Doorbell G4 can also store video in Aqara’s cloud, and there’s also local storage on board, as well; a microSD card can be housed in the indoor chime repeater.

Aqara smart locks

Aqara has become one of the major players when it comes to smart locks in the past couple of years and, for Amazon Spring Deal Days 2025, there are big savings to be had across the board.
Starting with the top-dogs and the U300 (US-only) is a Matter-over-Thread smart lock that features a multitude of unlocking options.

The U300 is a lever-lock and knob sibling to the retrofit U200, which is available in both the US and Europe.
The U200 boasts the same Matter credentials and both feature a fingerprint reader, as well as Apple’s Home Key feature too.
That means you can store a digital key in your Apple Wallet and unlock your door with either a tap of your iPhone or Apple Watch. Plus, with Apple’s Power Reserve feature, you can even open your door up to five hours after your phone or watch has run out of battery.
The U300 and U200 also boast a high-precision fingerprint reader (with local local and encrypted storage), shareable pin codes, night latch mode, passage mode and NFC key cards, as well as granting guests access through the app.

The U100 – which is suited to deadbolts and is available in the US – doesn’t have Thread, like its bigger siblings, but still syncs with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home.
If you want to add Matter, Alexa, or Google Home to the mix then you’ll need to pair it with one of the multitudes of Aqara smart home hubs.
If you go down the Matter / HomeKit route, the U100 is also compatible with Apple Home Key, which means that you can use Apple Wallet and the U100 also supports a number of other unlocking options including fingerprint, password, NFC, and a mechanical key.
As mentioned, all three are discounted for the big sales bonanza.

Aqara Hub M3

The Aqara Hub M3 was the brand’s first Matter controller; previous Aqara hubs simply acted as Matter bridges to get Aqara’s plethora of smart home devices up and running with your Matter smart home.
And what’s more, the M3 it’s a Thread border router too.
So that’s the full Matter controller / Thread border router combo; which means that it’s not just native Aqara devices can be controlled, but Matter devices from third-party brands, with local control and all the bells and whistles Matter brings.
Taking things even further, Aqara has also added dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and infrared into the mix as well.
Zigbee is also on board too, and the M3 can also still act as a Matter bridge for non-native Matter Aqara devices.
If you’ve already got an Aqara Zigbee hub in place, then adding an M3 to the mix really ramps things up as it will take charge of your Aqara system and allow devices to work execute on the Edge instead of over the cloud, ensuring continuous functionality even if your internet goes down.
The addition of a two-way 360° infrared blaster means you can even get your AC and AV equipment singing and dancing in your Matter smart home.
