CES 2025: Robo vacuums, pool cleaners and more all unveiled
Remember that Dreame prototype that was on show over in Berlin at IFA last year, the one that could climb (albeit, small) stairs?
That’s no longer a prototype as the ProLeap system has officially gone live on the Chinese brand’s latest flagship – the Dreame X50 Ultra – which has just had its unveiling over in Las Vegas at CES 2025.
The ProLeap system uses retractable robotic legs, allowing it to climb over obstacles up to 4.2cm, or over multi-level steps like patio doors up to 6cm; so if you’ve got a multi-level floor in your house then this could be just the answer.

It’s not going to climb the stairs to the 2nd floor but it will be able to navigate across different levels on the same floor.
Navigation is handled by an advanced DToF LiDAR, combined with a 360° scanning sensor and there’s a massive 20,000Pa suction rating to boot.
It boasts Dreame’s Detangling DuoBrush, which we’re told handles 100% of tangled hair effortlessly, and there’s also Dual Flex Arm Technology for perfect edge and corner coverage, as both the brush and mopping pads can extend.
It’s not quite as svelte as the new Roborock Saros S10 but it is slim enough to go under an 89mm clearing. And the LiDAR sensor can also retract to go under furniture too.
It’s also Matter compatible as well, so you will be able to get it singing and dancing with whatever smart home ecosystem you use.
The Dreame X50 Ultra is set to launch in February, priced at £1,399 in the UK, $1,699.99 in the US. You can pre-order now.
The X50 Ultra is joined in the new 2025 Dreame robo cleaner top-end lineup by the existing X40 Ultra – which boasts an extendable and liftable side brush, as well as MopExtend RoboSwing tech to reach under low surfaces; and the X40 Master, which has a compact dock (just 28cm high) for a more seamless installation.
Dreame also had another interesting concept on show in Vegas; a bionic multi-arm joint robotic feature that looks like it might just trump what Roborock has introduced with the Saros Z70 – Dreame claims it can lift objects up to 400g and it also has attachments for dusting and scrubbing.

As well as robo cleaners, Dreame also has a bunch of other new cleaning tech launching at CES, including the H12 Pro FlexReach Wet & Dry vacuum (pictured below), which features a unique 180° lie-flat capability and hot air drying at 60°C.

There’s also the Z30 Cordless Stick Vacuum, with its whopping 150,000rpm TurboMotor providing 310AW of suction, while at the same time filtering 99.99% of air nastiness through a HEPA filter.

Dreame is also expanding its water activities with the launch of the Z1 Pro Robotic Pool Cleaner; a clever pool cleaning assistant that features PoolSense technology for intelligent pool shape recognition and a LiFi Control System with advanced optical communication.
