CES 2025: New flagship robo cleaner boasts Ozmo Roller Mop tech
Over in Las Vegas, at CES 2025, Ecovacs has revealed its latest flagship robo cleaner: the Deebot X8 Pro Omni.
Featuring what the Chinese brand is describing as its “most advanced mopping system to date”, we’re informed that the Deebot X8 Pro Omni cleans its own mopping pads, even while its cleaning your house.
The new Ozmo Roller Mop uses enhanced pressure and speed, combined with instant self-washing mopping technology, to ensure the mop roller is continuously cleaned during operation for streak-free, contamination-free floors.
It’s not all about mopping though, the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni also boasts an impressive 18,000 Pa suction power, a ZeroTangle brush, and upgraded AI navigation system that promises a smarter and more thorough clean.
It also boasts the latest TruEdge 2.0 and 3D Edge Sensor technology, for better cleaning along edges and in tight spaces, while the updated AIVI 3D 3.0 builds on Ecovacs’ object recognition expertise to hopefully navigate complex environments with less issues.
The Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni will officially launch on 18 February, with pricing yet to be revealed.
Also launching in the robo cleaner category from Ecovacs stable is the T50 Max Pro and the T50 Pro Omni; the latter being the slimmest Ecovacs robot to date at just 81mm high (so only slightly bigger than the new Roborock Saros S10 range.)
Additionally, at the big Vegas expo, Ecovacs announced its latest top-end robotic lawnmower: the Goat A1-3000.
The flagship of the new A range, the A1-3000 features, according to Ecovacs at least, “the market’s first multi-technology navigation system.”
It combines satellite-based RTK positioning, dual LiDAR, and a 3D laser for accurate precision and efficiency.
Designed for larger lawns, the Goat A1-3000 also boasts dual-plate cutting for broader coverage.
There’s also a smaller Goat O Family being launched to tackle tight, intricate gardens with advanced obstacle avoidance and TruEdge edge mowing.
Prices for everything mentioned here have yet to be announced, but we’ll update the story as and when we hear more.
