Govee has taken a wild swing at garden lighting, with the Chinese brand’s latest launch, the Govee Outdoor Garden Lights (model H7086), swapping the usual strip or stake lights for a striking, tree-like structure that wouldn’t look out of place in an outdoor gallery.
The new lights are, like many of Govee’s ever-expanding line-up, Matter over Wi-Fi compatible, meaning you can slot them into your existing smart home setup with Alexa, Google Assistant, or any other Matter-compatible ecosystem.
The Govee Outdoor Garden Lights are powered by the brand’s upgraded RGBWWIC bulbs and 16-bit LuminBlend technology, offering over 16 million colors with high precision.
They boast up to 1100 lumens of full-spectrum white light with a 94 CRI rating, meaning your plants and patios will actually look good after dark instead of getting washed out under typical LED glare.
Built entirely from aluminum for durability, the lights carry an IP66 waterproof rating, (with the control box bumping up to IP67), which is more than enough to handle rainstorms, splashes, and rogue garden hose attacks.
Govee also promises temperature resistance between -20°C to 40°C, so you won’t need to drag them inside at the first sign of winter.
Each set includes two sturdy bases and four adjustable lamp poles, with a height range between 12 and 36 inches.
Out of the box, you can control the new garden lights through the incredibly-rich Govee Home app, which unlocks 64 preset scenes and full customization over colors, brightness, and dynamic effects.
Matter support here means easier setup, wider compatibility, and a futureproofing boost, though the Govee app will still offer the deepest set of features for those who like to really fine-tune their lighting schemes.
The Govee Outdoor Garden Lights are available now in select European markets, including the Netherlands, France, and Spain. They’re listed at €169.99, but you can currently snag them for €129.99 on Govee’s online store.
There’s no word yet on a US or UK release, but we’ll keep you posted.
