The latest, and smallest, Marshall smart speaker has just gone live - the Alexa-packing Uxbridge Voice, which comes with a Sonos One rivalling $199 price-tag.
Sitting alongside its bigger stablemates, the Marshall Stanmore II Voice and Action II Voice, the Uxbridge Voice doesn't have the trademark vinyl covering, instead offering a smooth finish alongside that all-familiar salt and pepper fret, with the Marshall logo front and centre.
Coming in either white or black, it boasts a pretty powerful 96dB punch, thanks to its built-in 30 Watt Class D amplifier for the woofer and tweeter.
Up top you'll get three rockers for physically customising your sound - volume, bass and treble - but you are also able to do this using the Marshall voice app.
The good news is that the Uxbridge Voice is all set for multi-room action, alongside Marshall's other connected speakers - or with third party partners using Apple AirPlay 2. It's also usable as both a regular Bluetooth speaker as well as being Spotify Connect compatible.
The Uxbridge Voice 2 is available to pre-order now for$199 and will start shipping on 8 April. If you're more Team G then you'll be pleased to know that a Google Assistant version of the speaker will be launching in June.
