Smart security camera specialist Reolink has made it easier than ever to jump on board its ever-growing platform with the launch of its new Wireless Security System.
The Reolink Wireless Security System actually comes in two flavors; one that packs a pair of Argus 4 Pro cams and one that has a duo of Argus PT Ultras.
Whatever camera option you go for, you also get a pair of solar panels to keep them juiced up, and the new Reolink Home Hub.
These packages were announced at CES 2025, alongside the new Duo 3 WiFi, and are now available to buy from Amazon.
By teaming a Reolink camera up with the Home Hub, you’re able to take advantage of a centralized controller for your system, where local microSD memory cards can be securely stored.
You’ll get a 64GB microSD card in the box but you can actually get a terabyte of local storage in action by using a pair of 512GB cards in the two slots on offer.
Most of the latest Reolink cameras do have their own microSD slots for local storage of your security videos, but I always state in our Reolink reviews that if somebody steals the camera, they also store that local storage.
The Home Hub, provided you keep it inside somewhere safe, obviously negates that risk and it also provides connectivity for up to eight Reolink cameras; pretty much all of the cams from the past few years are compatible, bar the 4G cellular models.
The Hub also means that, should your home Wi-Fi go down, then that local storage is still possible as it has a direct link to the cameras without needing an actual Internet connection, as it creates its own local LAN.
It’s also got a siren built in, so acts as an extra weapon in your home security system setup.
The Argus 4 Pro Wireless Security System is priced at $329.99; the Argus PT Ultra one is $50 cheaper at $279.99.
There’s also a promo on at the moment whereby you’ll get an extra 5% off if you use the code ‘hub021705’.
