The Roborock Saros Z70 – the one with the robotic arm that picks up your smelly socks – is now available for pre-order.
However, there is a little catch as the only way currently to pick up Roborock’s new top dog is by coughing up $1,899.99 for a combo deal that combines the new robot with another Roborock device.
There are a few combos available, including handheld cleaners like the F25 Ace or the Dyad Pro, or even other robots like the Q10 S5+.
The amount you’ll save depends on what duo you select but, taking the F25 Ace example, that would normally cost $600 more. The F25 Ace is $550 usually, so it means you’re almost getting it for free.
Unveiled at CES 2025, alongside the new Saros 10R and 10 models, the Saros Z70 is the first Roborock to feature the Chinese brand’s new OmniGrip robotic arm, which can be used to pick up items from the floor and put them in a designated place.
The robotic arm has five axes of movement, which means it can reach out and grab things like socks, shoes, and even the TV remote. Roborock says it can also pick up trash and put it in the bin.
Taking the StarSight navigation system that was introduced on the Roborock Qrevo Slim up to version 2.0, the S70 doesn’t need a LiDAR tower because it uses next-gen, dual-light, 3D Time-of-Flight sensors instead.
There’s also new tech by way of the VertiBeam Lateral Obstacle system, which will help it avoid cables and irregular furniture.
Throw in a whopping 22,000Pa suction rating and dual spinning mops that can lift by 2.2cm and you’re looking at a super high-end robot cleaning machine.
We’ll be reviewing the Saros S70 soon, so stay tuned for that.
Pre-orders are open now, direct from Roborock, and are limited so act fast if you want to get involved.
