Smart plug Amazon Prime Day mega savings

It's never been cheaper to make your dumb stuff smart

Smart plug Prime Day mega savings

In the last few months, I’ve gone a bit mad for smart plugs. I’m absolutely bonkers for them. Cheap ones that is.

Buying cheap smart plugs is my new tech addiction. I used to be into putting smart home buttons all over my house – but now it’s all about making dumb things smart.

Amazon Prime Day 2019: The best smart home deals

And the good news is that Prime Day is making it cheaper than ever to pack your house out with smart plugs. The beauty of Alexa and Google Assistant (HomeKit is still too much of a closed shop on this front) is that they tie all of your smart devices together in one place. It's one of the main reasons the smart home revolution has accelerated so much over the past couple of years. But with smart plugs, it takes things to a new level.

It doesn't really matter what brand you buy, you'll probably only need to use the native app once to get the plug synced with your home network. Thereafter, your digital assistant of choice will do the rest; creating handy groups, clever routines and the like.

Anyway, on with the main event - there's a ton of great smart plug deals to grab today on Prime Day, here are our pick of the biggest bargains both side of the pond...
