IFA 2019: This is the best thing ever shown off at the show
I’ve been coming to IFA for years. I’ve seen all sorts of things. Loads of things. Too many things.
But I’ve peaked now. We all have. We’re living in peak times. There’s a new Samsung wardrobe that cleans your clothes: the Samsung AirDresser
Sure, it only does three garments at a time and sure, it’s going to be so ridiculously expensive that no one is actually going to buy it (and where the hell would you put it anyway?), but that’s not the point is it?
The Samsung AirDresser uses a Jet Air system, combined with Air Hangers to literally blast dust and grime out of your clothes, while at the same time killing bacteria with steam.
It will also make your clothes smell nice thanks to a built in deoderizing filter, which captures and remove odors. There’s no worries about shrinkage either as the Heatpump Drying feature uses low temperatures.
It really is quite a thing. A big, skinny, shiny thing. And it will actually go on sale, we’re told; although there’s no price or release date info as of yet.
Also at IFA, Samsung took the covers off of the Cube AX9500, an air purifier that features the world’s first Wind-Free air purification system – apparently there will be no draft and it won’t make any noise; instead it uses 3-layered purification system that purifies and deodorizes air.
It can also be paired, using Bluetooth, to another unit for twice the purification power.
It can’t clean your clothes though, can it?
