Aqara Hub M2
The Hub M2, which recently received a Matter update, is the brains of the operation. It’s a Zigbee-based smart home hub that will allow you to sync the components of the Energy Saver Pack to an Aqara smart home system.
What’s more, it will future proof you for adding more Aqara and devices and sensors to your setup as it can handle up to 128 linked devices, and it can be connected to Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.
The Aqara M2 hub can work over Ethernet or Wi-Fi and simply plugs into a USB outlet for convenience. Oh, and it also doubles up as a siren if you want to add some Aqara security devices to the mix at some point too.
Aqara Radiator Thermostat E1
The Radiator Thermostat E1 is a smart accessory for hydronic radiators that aims to make home heating more efficient.
It’s compatible with most radiators thanks to its M30 x 1.5mm thread connection and the included adapters for RA, RAV and RAVL valves.
Unlike smart radiator valves that rely on an internal sensor on the device to help regulate room temperature, the Radiator Thermostat E1 is able to tap into readings from a connected Aqara temperature sensor and regulate based off these measurements.
Aqara Presence Sensor FP2
The FP2 is a revolutionary sensor for precise human presence detection that boasts millimeter wave (mmWave) radar technology, to not only sense when someone is in a room but where they are in the room and what they are doing; it can even detect your breathing.
This means it can provide essential information for tailored smart home automations such as turning off the heating when you lay down to go to sleep, or turning on the heating if it detects people coming in from outside.
Aqara Temperature & Humidity Sensor T1
A great smart sensor for your bathroom, kitchen or drying room, the T1 is able to detect humidity with an accuracy of ±3% and temperature detection with an accuracy of ±0.3 degrees.
When paired with the Aqara Hub M2, you’ll be able to create automations based on the conditions in your house, such as adjusting the temperature of the Radiator Thermostat E1.
