Swedish brand expands the compatibility of its compact speaker
Scandinavian speaker specialist Audio Pro has taken the covers off of the 2nd-gen A10, adding more connectivity options for users.
The Audio Pro A10 Mk II boasts Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, making a multi-room audio setup even easier.
It’s an upgrade cycle for the 2nd-gen speaker that follows in the footpath of its bigger siblings; the Audio Pro C5 Mk II and the Audio Pro C10 Mk II.
The first generations of these speakers were all limited to Audio Pro’s own multi-room system and Spotify Connect.
Adding AirPlay in is obviously a boast for Apple Home setups, and setting up Google Chromecast multi-room audio should also be a doddle now. Bluetooth 5 is also on board.
Looks wise, it’s a lot like its predecessor but, despite its small(ish) stature (just under 20cm tall, weighing 1.5kg) it still packs a fair old audio punch, thanks to a dedicated 3-inch woofer and 1.25-inch Balanced Mode Radiator driver.
On top you’ll find the usual Audio Pro preset buttons on the top of the speaker. These let you can save and access your favorite playlists and radio stations at the touch of a button.
There’s no digital assistant on board but, thanks to the AirPlay and Google Cast tech, you can group it with other speakers with Siri or the Google Assistant on board, for voice command controls.
The Audio Pro A10 Mk II comes in light or dark grey and is available to order now. It costs £250 in the UK, $250 Stateside.
