When it comes to Black Friday it’s undoubtably Amazon that rules the roost. Every year its own Echo smart speakers are treated to tantalising price cuts.
Amazon has revealed some mega savings across the Alexa-board, with great savings to be had on a range of Echo devices; even ones that have only just been released like the 3rd-gen Echo Show 5 and the 2nd-gen Echo Studio.

The latest Echo Show 8, 3rd-gen if you’re keeping count, has only been on sale for a few weeks but is included in the big Echo Black Friday bonanza.
The latest Show 8 represents a significant upgrade from its predecessor with Alexa more responsive than ever and key smart home radios such as Thread and Zigbee on board.
The Show 8 is a great option for anyone looking for a top mid-size smart speaker with a display and, if you’re not too worried about the extra smart home smarts, then there’s also the option of the 2nd-gen Echo Show, which has also been discounted for Black Friday.

Like the Show 8, the 3rd-gen Show 5 is a 2023 Amazon launch, so it’s safe to assume that this is the best deal there has ever been for the smallest Echo smart speaker – it is less than half price.
The Show 5 isn’t designed to be a smart home hub, a dedicated speaker or even a video player like its bigger stablemates; it is best situated on a desk, kitchen sideboard or bedside cabinet, acting as an Alexa assistant with some visuals thrown into the mix.
As well as a great discount on the standard model, the Kids Show 5 has also been discounted for Black Friday too.

The Dot is the best-selling line of all Echo devices, and it serves as a wonderful gateway into the world of Alexa.
