Wireless Fingerprint Keypad added to the collection
The Ultion Nuki smart lock is receiving a nifty new biometric keypad that allows users to gain entry with just their fingerprint.
The Wireless Fingerprint Keypad is available for the Brisant Secure Ultion Nuki smart lock – a result of the collaboration between the British lock maker and Austrian smart lock designer.
The upgrade is similar in look to the £79 standard version of the keypad released last year, with a fingerprint reader simply being added to the bottom for this latest accessory.
It has the ability to store up to 20 fingerprints, also making it a decent option for apartment complexes, with the option of the PIN entry obviously also supported.
Installation is also similar to the standard keypad. It’s battery-powered, with Bluetooth support meaning it simply needs to be within a short range of the actual Ultion Nuki lock, and the weatherproof design means this can also be pretty much anywhere on the outside of your home.
The Wireless Fingerprint Keypad is just the latest accessory for the smart lock system, as we say.
When the Ultion Nuki was announced back in June last year, the fingerprint-less pad was also joined by a £39 keyfob, and the lock can also be worked via a smart assistant, app, and even the classic key.
For those who already own the lock, the new keypad can be picked up for £145 from Amazon or Brisant Secure directly, or it can be bought in a bundle with the lock for £390.
As with the other accessories, the Fingerprint Keypad is also compatible with Nuki wares, such as the Nuki Smart Lock 3.0.
