CES 2024: Monster hybrid whole-house battery generator launched
EcoFlow has unleashed the Delta Pro Ultra at CES 2024, and it’s no ordinary power backup system – it’s an absolute beast.
Labelled by its maker as the world’s mightiest smart hybrid whole-house battery generator and backup system, it can juice up your whole house with its massive 6kWh capacity, belting out 7200W and soaking in 5.6kW of solar goodness.
The Delta Pro Ultra is stackable, up to 15 units can be combined, and it’s compatible with energy sources such as solar and gas.
It has been launched at CES 2024 alongside the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 2, essentially the brains that make sure your home smoothly transitions from grid to backup if there’s a blackout, optimizing energy use, and cutting down costs.

It flips the switch in a flash – as quick as 0ms for connected devices and just under 20ms for your entire home when paired with the Smart Home Panel.
It also boasts Storm Guard, powered by Weatherbit, which keeps an eye on the forecast, gearing up for power backup when a storm is on the horizon.
Whether you’re prepping for the zombie apocalypse or just want a reliable backup system, it’s got you covered – and it’s portable too so can be used for camping trips.
The Delta Pro Ultra can be charged in multiple ways – AC power, solar panels, or even gas generators and it seamlessly hooks up with your existing solar setup (5.6kW up to 16.8kW.)
The Delta Pro Ultra comes with a nifty battery management system, fancy X-Cooling tech, and an EV-grade LFP battery that, we’re assured, can handle your power needs for over 10 years. That’s 3,500 cycles before it even thinks about slowing down.
You can either add it into your home setup with a transfer switch or inlet box, or go all-in with the Smart Home Panel 2, for automatic switching to and from the grid.
The EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra will go on sale on 9 January, for $5,799. The Smart Home Panel 2 is being introduced at $1,599; you can save a couple of hundred bucks if you buy them together as a $7,199 bundle.
From 9 February, the regular prices for the Smart Home Panel 2 kick in: $1,899 or $7,499 for the bundle.
