Chinese smart cleaning giant also has a brand new Dyad on show in Berlin
Roborock has unveiled a plethora of new tech over in Berlin at IFA 2023. You won’t be surprised to hear there’s a couple of new robot vacuum cleaners on show… but the launch of a Roborock washing machine might make you sit up and take notice.
The Roborock Zeo One, which looks just like the Roborock H1 that went on sale in China earlier this year, is the robo cleaning expert’s first foray into the washing machine category in the western world.

This being Roborock – arguably the stand out brand for robot vacuum cleaners over the past couple of years – the Zeo One is not your average washing/dryer; there’s a barrage of cutting edge tech baked in.
We’re informed that it packs features that eliminate bacteria, pet dander and more and that, thanks to “Zcycle moderate-temperature drying technology, inspired by zeolite, can dry your delicate clothes at precise moderate temperatures controlled by an AI algorithm with NTC smart sensors to avoid damage.”
There’s also a LintClear Self-Cleaning System that automatically collects and removes lint automatically… we’ve no idea how that will work, but can’t wait to find out.

It’s Wi-Fi connected and can be operated via the Roborock app or by using that slick looking touch panel up front.
There’s no word on pricing as of yet, nor a launch date – but the H1 sells in China for around $1,000 so that may give us an idea.
New Roborock Q range models
What is more concrete in terms of a launch, and much more like we expected to see on show from Roborock is the Q5 Pro and the Q8 Max.
Both hitting opposite ends of the Roborock Q Series scales (which, itself sits below the flagship S Series range in the Roborock hierarchy) the Q5 Pro is the new entry level for the line-up, while the Q8 Max trumps the existing Q7 for top billing.
Both models are feature the DuoRoller Brush system that we praised in our Roborock S8 Ultra Pro review, a 5,500Pa suction power, LiDAR navigation (with new features such as Smart Suggestions for No-Go Zones and Clean Along Floor Directions), mopping systems that provide simultaneous vacuum and mop capability
The Q8 Max also boasts a Reactive Tech Obstacle Avoidance system.

On sale from October, the Q5 Pro will cost you $429.99, while the Q8 Max is priced at $599.99.
There will be docking versions of both models too, boxed up with the RockDock Plus auto-emptying dock. You can add a + sign to their names for that and a fair few extra dollars.
It’ll be $699.99 for the Q5 Pro+ and the Q8 Max+ will set you back $819.99.
A new Dyad in town
Rounding of Roborock’s IFA 2023 launch bonanza is the latest wet and dry cleaner from the brand.
The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo is the company’s first wet-dry vacuum and handheld vacuum convertible unit.
Building on the success of the original Dyad and last year’s Dyad Pro, the Dyad Pro Combo can be converted from a wet-dry vacuum to a cordless handheld vacuum for different cleaning scenarios.
Again, on sale in October, the new handheld will cost $659.99
