Back in September we learned that Amazon would allow developers to build Alexa Gadgets, fun little devices that let you play games with Alexa and do other interesting things, like act as physical manifestations of Alexa.
When Amazon announced Alexa Gadgets, it used Big Mouth Billy Bass as an example of what was possible, instantly winning over the internet as the dream parter for everyone’s favorite assistant. And now it’s available for pre-order for a cool $40 from Amazon.

All you have to do is pair the Big Mouth up to Alexa, and once you can do that you can order more Big Mouth Billy Basses (one for every room!). You can also just use it as you would Alexa, and the Big Mouth would sync its movements to Alexa.
Plus, when you play some music you can synt it up so that it’ll dance along. It’s basically the Big Mouth Billy Bass you know and love, except updated for 2018 for the era of the smart home. Who hasn’t wanted Billy Bass to read them the news in the morning, or tell them their kitchen timer is up?
Once you pre-order the Billy Bass, you can expect your kitsch talking fish to arrive well before Christmas, with orders shipping from 1 December.
