Set the tone with the company's new bendy light strip
Signify’s budget arm WiZ has debuted a series of new smart lights designed for walls, lamps, and ceilings, including its first color filament bulb and a flexible light strip.
The arrivals come just a few weeks after the company jumped into the world of home security with its first smart security camera, though this latest range is more in line with its usual wares.
The Full Color Filament Spiral – essentially a color version of WiZ’s existing filament bulbs – is the most notable of the new ensemble, and comes in either a globe-shaped G25, Edison A19, or tube-like ST19.
Each bulb starts at $29.99 / £27.99 and has a standard E26 base, though there’s no room for the same E12 or E25 fittings that are available through some of WiZ’s white candelabra filament options.
For those who want to dress up their walls, the new Neon Flex Strip, as the name suggests, is also a really handy solution.

It allows users to bend and mount the 3-meter strip into a certain shape, as shown above, as well as take advantage of the light’s gradient effects to set the mood.
And if your ceilings are lacking a bit of color, WiZ has two new offerings for you to pick from.
The first is the SuperSlim Color Ceiling Luminaire, a circular fixture that’s available in black and white and in two different sizes, while there’s the Panel Ceiling to consider, as well.
This panel light comes in three different variations (with two square stylings and one rectangular to pick from), and, again, in either a black or white trim, with prices beginning at £64.99 and ranging to £119.99.
All in all, the new arrivals add to what’s already been a busy year for WiZ.
Not only did it expand into home security with its innovative smart camera, but it’s also been used as a guinea pig for Signify’s Matter update, with a rollout beginning in April after sibling Philips Hue announced its own delay.
Expect to see plenty more before the year is out.
